Both Dayton Regional Green 3 and Partners for the Environment expressed an interest through The Dayton Foundation to participate in a Merger/Collaboration Options Assessment. This assessment has assisted to determine that a collaborative effort along with other area organizations serves the best interest of the community. In November 2013 Montgomery County, Dayton Regional Green 3, Partners for the Environment, Miami Conservancy District, Five Rivers Metro Parks and the City of Dayton came to an agreement that the Dayton Regional Green Initiative is envisioned to be a collaborative approach built on the People, Profit, Planet balance where Dayton Regional Green 3 will focus on Economic Impact, Partners for the Environment on natural resources, and Five Rivers Metro Parks along with Dayton Art Institute will focus and lead on social equity and livability. The DRG3 website will be developed as an impactful, cleaner, and regionally relevant web site.
